Surface preparation is equally important in creating an exceptional finished appearance. The old painted surface has been exposed to years of corrosive abrasion from rain, chemicals and UV light. It not properly treated the new painted surface can be impared quickly.

Hero Handyman will undertake the necessary steps to prepare the surace for new painting. In the case of rust this may be to convert the rust oxide and neuteralise the corrosive properties. Varnishes can be removed completely or treated to form a bonding agent. Old paint can be sanded, removed or treated. Forming a surface that the new coating will adhere is critical.
